Willinga Park is Australia’s most prestigious equestrian centre, located on the beautiful NSW South Coast, around 3.5 hours south of Sydney and 2.5 hours north-east of Canberra. Set over 2000 acres, Willinga Park has combined a passion for horses, sculpture, gardens and architecture into one astounding location.
It is a quintessential bush setting, just minutes from beautiful beaches. Willinga Park is surrounded by gum forests and the building materials used have been chosen to sit harmoniously within the landscape. Concrete, stone, corten steel and wood dominate the external structures while warm leather, concrete and wood, alongside designer furniture can be found internally. Willinga Park has won a swath of architecture awards for their striking buildings, which have been featured in photoshoots, advertisements and documentaries.
Willinga Park houses some of the world’s best equestrian facilities, including both undercover and outdoor arenas, polo fields, competition stables, luxury dressage stables and showjumping fields. There are over 100 beautiful healthy horses on site at any one time.
Alongside the equestrian facilities are ten acres of vibrant botanical gardens, with water features throughout. Interspersed through the gardens is one of Australia’s largest private outdoor sculpture collections, with large-scale works from famed Australian and International artists.
Willinga Park is completely self-sufficient, relying on 2000 solar panels, a 2.1 kWh Tesla battery storage system and three backup generators for power.
There is accommodation onsite, ranging from luxury pavilions to powered camping sites, as well as several commercial kitchens and good relationships with local caterers. There is also a private helipad and assistance can be provided for transport.
