DOCKLANDS STUDIOS MELBOURNE

Docklands Studios Melbourne is a modern purpose-built facility in the heart of one of the world’s most liveable cities and 20 minutes from Melbourne Airport.

We have six sound stages; our 3,700 sqm (40,000 sqft) super stage is one of the largest in the southern hemisphere.

Our five other stages range from 743 sqm (8,000 sqft) to 2,323 sqm (25,000 sqft).

We have two state-of-the-art LED Volumes, one measuring 12m tall x 30m wide (39ft x 101ft) in Stage 1, the other measuring 8m tall x 21m wide (26ft x 68ft) in Stage 3. Both are operated by NantStudios @ Docklands Studios.

Each of our stages houses production offices, storage, dressing and make-up rooms.

There are three mess halls, a large workshop with eight bays for set and props construction, costume and storage. The studio lot is secure with plenty of parking.

Docklands Studios is a dry-hire facility, allowing productions to select from Victoria’s large pool of world-class service providers, including lighting, camera, drone, equipment hire, editing, VFX and post.
